During this mode, you are not allowed to attack any house (although you can defend, and troops with battle permits may still attack at will). When a total of 5 seals have been broken (due to conquest or passage of time), the game enters the "Incident at Honnou Temple mode", beginning with the disappearance of Kouhime. There are 8 seals on the Demon Xavier, whose status you can check via the F5 menu. The same rule applies to other seal (break 3 seal before turn 50, 4 before 70, and 5 before 90). For example, breaking Iga seal before turn 30 will prevent Takeda's seal from being stolen at turn 30 (this event is delayed to 50 instead). Toukichirou will only steal Takeda's seal at turn 30 if there is only 1 seal broken by then. You can hasten these event in your second play through by feeding the monkey. The order will be Takeda, Mouri, Houjou and Uesugi. These events happen at turn 30, 50, 70 and 90. If you don't conquered the houses which hold the seals, Nobunaga's monkey (Toukichirou) will steal the seal and bring it to Nobunaga. The first seal will be broken in turn 10. The flow of the game consists of fighting the various houses of JAPAN, with the Incident at Honnou Temple somewhere in between, and finally a showdown with the Demon Army. You must have conquered the area to gain access to the command. Go on adventures in Iga, Cairo, Shikoku and Mazo, each adventure bumps kentarou up by 5 levels and is essential for winning the duel against Xavier. At some point you will see purple options for Kentarou to On some routes he will auto join you after the incident at the Honnou Temple in a few turns. Once you defeat the house he joined, or after the Incident at Honnou Temple, or after an event at turn 70, he won't fight against you anymore. ![]() Ogawa Kentarou will temporarily join one of the houses you are actively fighting against at turn 20. "Standard" difficulty starts your game with 60 points (same difficulty as First Game), and increasing difficulty starts you off with more points.
